Containment and Aseptic Processing Solutions Seminar

Walker Barrier Systems hosted a seminar on Containment and Aseptic Processing Solutions on September 27th.  The event was held from noon - 6:00p:m at the Hamner Conference Center in the North Carolina Biotechnology Center in RTP, NC.  The many attendees enjoyed lunch followed by presentations from various industry experts.  These presentations included:
  • Introduction to Containment Solutions by Peter Schofield of Walker Barrier Systems
  • Introduction to Aseptic Isolators by Gary Partington of Walker Barrier Systems
  • Introduction to Liquid and Powder Filling Technology by Paul Martinez of M&O Perry Industries
  • Key Aspects of Validating Aseptic Isolator Systems by Tom Jeffries of Advanced Barrier Concepts
  • Glove Technology by Lynn Aurelius of Piercan

Rapid Transfer Port

American Glovebox Society

Walker Barrier Systems will be exhibiting at the upcoming American Glovebox Society Annual Conference in San Francisco, CA.  See us from July 18-20 at the Parc 55 Wyndham Hotel. 


Did you know that Walker Barrier Systems has access to an extensive range of genuine spare parts and consumable items for all isolators and downflow booths whether made by Walker Barrier Systems or someone else.  Parts are shipped from our New Lisbon, WI location and often can be sent same day.

Our trained Field Service Technicians can provide preventative maintenance programs or perform repairs on Walker Barrier Systems isolators and downflow booths or on those provided by other suppliers.  Preventative Maintenance visits can include instrument calibration, operational tests, changing or spare parts and operator training.  We can also relocate equipment, make upgrades, modifications and retrofits to existing isolators (hatchback windows, PLC etc) and downflow booths (containment screens, etc).

Interphex NYC 2011

Walker Barrier Systems attending Interphex 2011 in New York City at the end of March.  We had an awesome show and it was attended very well!!  We displayed a portable downflow booth screen that can achive <10 micrograms per qubic meter OEL. This equipment received much attention at the show and has been requested by a customer to be on their site for testing purposes.
